National Representatives serve as nominated members of IAANT and, at minimum, attend the National Representatives Working Group. The role of a National Representative is to connect the international community to their region and to connect their region to the international community. National Representatives are encouraged to become aware of, familiar with, and connected to, the Adventure and Nature-Based individuals, organizations, education programs, and associations in their region.

All nations are invited to have up to 2 representatives with 1 vote per nation. In order to reflect the diversity in perspectives and geography, some regions may request more than 2 National Representatives nominations per nation.
