Nemeti-Feher Zsofia
My name is Németi-Fehér Zsófia, and above all, I consider myself a nature and outdoor enthusiast. I was a competitive skier for 10 years before transitioning to ski touring, freeride skiing, and working as a ski instructor. These experiences deepened my appreciation for the wilderness and taught me the importance of safety and resilience in the outdoors.
Beyond my love for nature, I am deeply passionate about human connection and personal development. I am a licensed clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, currently in the third year of my PhD at the University of Bucharest, with a research focus on sports and extreme sports psychology. I work closely with athletes and teenagers in both my private practice and in outdoor sports camps, where I guide them through personal challenges, help them confront fears, and support their growth.
I first learned about adventure therapy at the 4th Gathering for Adventure Therapy in Europe, held in 2024 in Sigulda, Latvia, where I volunteered. Since then, I have followed this approach closely and have been deeply inspired by its use of nature and outdoor sports as tools for growth, healing, and learning, an approach I personally connect with very strongly.
