Sweden

Claes Tovetjärn, representing Sweden, have been working with outdoor and adventure education as well as clinical adventure and nature-based therapies since 1990’s with two main target groups children/youth at risk and staff within military/police/rescue/prehospital units with stress/anxiety/depression/trauma, I was attracted to this because of a combination of interest in outdoor activities (friluftsliv) and human performance, I would encourage others to this kind of work since it might provide a new perspective and a way to reach clients/patients that might otherwise drop out from care.
